Why Sunnymoney?
In Kenya, SolarAid is known as Sunnymoney. It is the gift of free and plentiful sunshine in Kenya; a gift that can generate income.
This name has allowed SolarAid to separate itself from the negative connotations that sadly exist due to aid agency activity in many developing countries- the negative impacts of free handouts.
More so, the Sunnymoney branding allows our franchisees to be taken seriously as business men and women and it gives us the ability to enter more commercial markets locally.
So, Sunnymoney really is the entrepreneurial gift that keeps on giving. Not only to our franchisees, but to their families and communities and of course the environmental and the world which we all share.
Please help us to reduce poverty, improve health and fight climate change. Sponsor a Sunnymoney franchisee today.
Thank you.
